I have for sale a beautiful 1972 el camino ss with the original 350 with under 5000 miles on pro rebuild and less than 130,000 miles on the vehicle. I used to show often but had a deer run into the fender coming home from a car show and it has sat ever since-lost all interest with 2 daughters and other interests I just do not have the time to spend like I used to so I would like to see it go to someone who can appreciate it. Dad bought it off the showroom floor in 72 and I inherited it at an age when I could appreciate it. It has ALWAYS been parked inside either a garage or a climate controlled shop and was very babied. It is burnt orange with a black vinyl top and a matching fiberglass cover for the bed. Auto trans. with air conditioning and power brakes and power steering. All black interior with a bench seat and crager ss rims with the original rims incuded. I have 2 fenders for it and what it needs is a fender replaced and a grille with some other smaller items with fender being then painted. I had an estimate from a pro bodyshop at $1,000-$1,500 to get it back to show condition-much less if you do the work yourself! Trying to save someone some money but still give it a good home- check bluebook on it if a little money was spent along with the purchase price-still a good deal! Call for more details or pics at . And as of 5-27-11 I am starting to repair it so the price after I get it painted and other finishing touches done will be MORE- so if you want to get the better deal, now is the time but it will be basically turn key ready after the work is finished.
